STONEBWOY, SHATTA WALE AND GHANA'S BIGGEST STARS SHOW UP FOR THE BLACK STARS

The Ministry of Finance is making entertainment headlines, as some of Ghana's biggest music stars turned up at the ministry for the official launch of the Ghana World Cup Fundraising Raffle Draw, which is an unexpected spectacle for a serious and responsible agency.
Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale headlined the turnout, joined by gospel star NaCee, Akwaboah, and Kweku Flick turning up the energy in the room a notch.
On the government side, Sports and Recreation Minister Kofi Adams and Deputy Finance Minister Thomas Ampem Nyarko were present, making it a full house of both music and state power.
The purpose of the gathering to was raise money to support the Black Stars as Ghana prepares for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, hosted across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. With qualification already done, the focus now shifts to making sure the team goes in well-prepared and well-funded; and the government wants the public to be part of that.
The choice of the Finance Ministry as the venue was a deliberate effort which signals that the initiative carries official weight and that the funds raised will be properly managed.
The raffle is open to fans and businesses, with all proceeds going directly toward the team's World Cup preparations. Ghana will face England, Croatia, and Panama in Group L, a tough but exciting group that guarantees the Black Stars will have the world watching.
Seeing Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale at the same event, on the same mission, will also not go unnoticed by fans who know the history between the two. Whatever their differences, both men showed up together toward a collective purpose.
Ghana faces the World Cup in a few months. The raffle is one way every fan can play a part.
